If you're going out specifically to photograph, give yourself enough time to take lots of photos. Be patient and take multiple shots of the same scene using various settings. Decide what you want to feature in your photo and set up your shot in order to best highlight that feature. Beautiful landscapes may look nice to the eye but may not translate into a great picture if there's nothing to draw the viewer's attention. If possible, use a tripod. With a tripod, you can be more creative with camera settings without having to worry about a shaky hand ruining the shot. Finally, have fun! Great article!
